Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Conduct technical research and develop policies and procedures that support program efficacies while minimizing liability to the company. Benchmark effectiveness and impact of the program as well as ensuring its consistency.PRIMARY DUTIES Plans and directs Fitness for Duty program services to ensure compliance with federal regulations and Exelon or Business Unit policy. Provides regulatory, policy and procedural guidance and direction to Business Unit management, Medical Review Officer, Employee Assistance Program, employees and contractors. Provide contract administration and audits of laboratory, Medical Review Officer, and Employee Assistance Program vendors.Measure and evaluates critical data to determine effectiveness of program implementation. Communicate results to senior management, as necessary. Work with Legal, Human Resource, and Labor Relations groups to ensure program consistency and to minimize liability exposure on drug and alcohol testing-related employment actions. Conduct training seminars and make presentations on substance abuse programs, as required.Position RequirementsMinimum:• 4-year degree in Health Administration, Health Law with Nursing or Medicine, Medicine with MPH, Nursing, Public Health, Social Services.• 5 to 8 years of experience in Fitness for Duty program management.• Demonstrated experience working with federal regulations, training in laboratory practice, pharmacology, toxicology, and psychology. • Ability to supervise, direct, and work in a team environmentPreferred: Licensed Health Care professional.
