Role Summary:

The Sr Finance Manager - Sales / Bid Support partners with the Strategic Accounts commercial team to structure deals and accelerate customer acquisition for Current, powered by GE. Create demand with structured finance options for LED and intelligent environment deals and liaison with platforms and operations team to support the broader Current capabilities for energy efficiency, including solar and software.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Sr Finance Manager - Sales / Bid Support, you will:

Proactively serve as business partner to the Strategic Accounts commercial teams in the formulation and execution of deal transactions for projects, including equipment, turnkey installation and service offerings

Partner with the commercial teams in the development, implementation and measurement of operating plans and participate in their successful execution

Drive operating rhythm with sales team to ensure clarity and accountability across key commercial metrics: orders, sales, backlog and pipeline

Liaison across key functions, including commercial operations, legal, product management, technology and projects organizations, to create and deliver structured finance offerings for customers

Provide strategic finance support in business deal reviews and keep leadership advised of material developments

Conduct performance analytics for assigned accounts to identify financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities and ensure operational coordination

Create software financial models to sell intelligent environments to customers

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

Minimum of 5 years of finance experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a global environment

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

PLEASE NOTE : Work Location listed is Boston, MA. However, other US Locations may be considered for this position, including Cleveland, OH

Desired Characteristics:

Demonstrated ability to analyze risk based on financial data

Strong knowledge of capital markets products and capabilities

Solid experience in supporting commercial transactions with customers

Experience with big projects with product, service and installation models, leading deals with financial support, plus government relations

Prior experience independently structuring, restructuring, and executing large complex transactions is preferred

Preferred finance leadership program graduate (FMP, CAS) (GE employees only)

Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure

Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans

Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
