The Sr. Compliance Analyst

will have a daily responsibility for monitoring and testing of key control processes in Business Processing Solutions including but not limited to: TCPA, Pioneer Credit Recovery & General Revenue Corporation. The scope of responsibilities includes: developing and executing systemic compliance testing scopes using data analytics, reviewing the results with management, issuing reports on testing results and tracking outstanding action items to correct deficiencies. Ensure that monitoring/testing scopes incorporate all new products/initiatives or modifications to existing products/strategies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The candidate will have prior experience in Compliance and Data Analytics.

Monitoring and Testing

Develop and execute systemic compliance monitoring and testing scopes.

Ensure testing scopes accurately reflect regulatory requirements.

Ensure testing scopes accurately reflect Navient Policy requirements.

Reviewing monitoring and testing results with business unit management.

Review results of monitoring and testing with business unit management to gain agreement on exceptions.

Provide recommendations to address any deficiencies.

Data Analytics & Reporting

Provide business unit management with reporting on results of monitoring/testing.

Produce trending analysis of monitoring efforts.

Provide Data Analytics support to Corporate Compliance Business Processing Solutions team.

Issue Tracking

Tracking issues noted during testing to ensure remediation efforts are on track.

Validate that issues deemed closed by the line of business have been appropriately mitigated.

Provide summary reporting on issue resolution

Maintain accuracy of monitoring/testing scopes

Ensure testing scopes reflect regulatory, procedural or product changes.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree, the appropriate amount of experience can be in lieu of education

3 years of regulatory management or operational risk experience.

2-3 years of data analytics experience.

4-5 years of operational knowledge of business lines supporting consumer lending.

Other Helpful Education or Experience:

Certifications in regulatory, audit or risk management disciplines.

Experience using CallMiner or other speech analytics platforms

TCPA Background or experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Ability to understand complex regulatory requirements and analyze their impact on business operations.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience using SQL and SQL Database Management Tools including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, Aginity Workbench, Toad and Microsoft Access.

Up to 10% travel
