JOB TITLE: Sr Compensation Systems ConsultantJOB SUMMARYResponsible for supporting the design and configurations of our compensation systems. Partner with internal key business and functional stakeholders as well as external system vendors to understand business objectives, requirements, and system delivery capabilities to provide effective system solutions. Hands-on configuration experience with Optymyze or similar commissions systems is highly desirable.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experienceBusiness/System Analyst role in configuration and change management of primarily commission plan components in OptymyzeIdentify, prioritize, and execute on system enhancements to continuously improve the end user experiencePartner with the key stakeholders to identify, analyze and document new business requirements and translate them to functional system requirement specificationsComplete system configuration changes and manage vendor partners’ assistance on configuration support when we outsource them. Develop, document and perform system and user acceptance testsServe as a liaison among HR, IT, HRIS, Payroll, and key business stakeholders to provide systems support and to fully leverage our systems capabilities to meet the needs of the business and our workforceProvide escalated system support and troubleshoot issues for internal system administrative users in the Compensation and Talent Planning DepartmentPerform other duties as requestedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to take initiative and work in a highly dynamic environmentAbility to handle multiple projects under tight timelinesAbility to work comfortably with technical and non-technical individualsAbility to synthesize business issues into technical solutions and to document and execute system requirementsDemonstrable understanding of business analysis and system/process design skillsStrong technical skills with concentrated abilities in relational database and compensation system configurationsIn-depth understanding of the movement of sets of data, master systems and downstream systems and the way data sets are related to one anotherEDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or equivalent work experience and/or certificationsRELATED WORK EXPERIENCE5 years of Business/Systems Analyst experience Minimum of 3 years of configuration experience with tier one commission systems such as Optymyze, Callidus TrueComp, Xactly, Oracle Incentive Compensation module PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Optymzye or other comparable sales commission system is strongly preferredWorking knowledge of sales commission plans and compensation processesExposures to major billing and CRM systems (Salesforce, Siebel, and CSG preferred)Telecommunications/Cable industry experience preferredWORKING CONDITIONSFast-Paced Office EnvironmentEOE Race/Sex/Vet/DisabilityCharter is an equal opportunity employer that complies with the laws and regulations set forth in the following EEO Is the Law poster: is committed to diversity, and values the ways in which we are different. #LI-CR
