Our office in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to perform business and applications systems analysis, develop IT solutions to complex business problems and assist with the implementation of those solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Implement solutions that enhance, streamline and automate the management of data warehouse and analytics repositories.

• Review system interfaces and extracts that control the migration of data between systems/databases.

• Coordinate work with onshore & offshore developers.

• Develop technical and functional test plans to validate the successful design, development and implementation of system and reporting deliverables.

• Trouble-shoot and run root cause analysis of application problems.

• Ensure data consistency as data moves across the enterprise.

• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure support teams.

• Sound understanding of Data Warehouse best practices, relational structures and data warehouse and reporting techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Competent to work at the highest technical level of system analysis required to develop and prepare specifications for complex data integrations supporting analytics. Also establishes deliverables related to the project and ensures the use of established processes.

• Excellent communication skills, organizational skills and ability to collaborate with technical teams and business units.

• Provide analysis of the development of key business processes, business rules, system and user testing, data sourcing strategies, data validation and user support with data analysis.

• Analyzes and defines system’s scope, objectives, and costs based on both business and user needs and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Works closely with user departments to develop and document business requirements.

• Utilizes and maintains technical and applications expertise, including the use of technologies, tools, programming standards, established processes, and concepts necessary to develop quality IT solutions.

• Gives effective mentoring and guidance to other IT development personnel and may assist in developing standards for program development

• Provides coverage and support of production application systems.

• Attends training and/or industry seminars as appropriate, to stay abreast of current technologies, trends and directions.

• May be called upon to handle other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Typically requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
