Job Description

Join the Coram/CVS Health team as a Sr Assistant, Customer Quality and you will support our Phoenix office by updating patients and caregivers on their orders and arranging for product delivery. You will update patient insurance coverage and demographic information while documenting all conversations in the patient medical records. Must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key stakeholders and patients.

In this role, you will…

Communicate with patients and caregivers regarding nutrition formula refill requests and patient financial obligations.

Communicate with insurance providers and physicians to obtain clarification on medical documentation or request missing documentation required to process patient orders and reimbursements.

Arrange for nutrition product delivery with patients, caregivers and couriers and update case managers on patient status.

Process payments for self pay patients and submit product orders prior to a daily cutoff.

Directly impact a patient’s life by ensuring all paperwork and medical documentation are on file, allowing nutrition orders to be processed appropriately.

Challenge your healthcare training or current customer services skills to make a difference in a patient’s life by ensuring all required information to process their order is on file and being processed correctly.

Required Qualifications

Minimum one year experience working in a customer service environment.

Minimum one year experience work in a healthcare environment.

Minimum one year experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong data entry skills; typing speed of 50 WPM (words per minute).

Home infusion or durable medical equipment (DME) experience.

Call center experience.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to work with a sense of urgency.

Strong attention to detail.

Education

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
