Southeastern Territory Sales Manager

Our client is a growing multi-national organization operating in a unique market. They manufacture and distribute mobile solutions for organizations across the globe specializing in retail corporations. Their sales have increased on an average of 15% annually over the past 10 years with higher expectations in the future.

Under the general direction of the Vice President of Sales, the Southeastern Regional Sales Manager is responsible managing and 11 state territory. We will rely on you to be responsible for generating new business sales in the allocated market space and also maintaining select house accounts. Qualified candidates will have experience and relationships selling to customers who specialize in the commercial kitchen or commercial restaurant equipment space. Our products are utilized across a wide range of industries, which creates a significant opportunity for growth.


Established relationships and contacts within the industrial kitchen or industrial restaurant equipment industry

Bachelor’s degree required

Strong sales and relationship-building skills with a proven track record of success

Be highly motivated and possess a strong customer focus

Must be able to identify priority assignments and arrange activities to meet deadlines on a regular basis

Ability to solve customer problems and complaints without supervision while adhering to the company’s policy and best business practices

Ability to calculate various numerical sums including price, discount calculations and invoice totals as requested by customers or the company’s staff

Ability to identify and evaluate issues in a logical manner to develop and execute workable solutions

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Software

Proven history of strong business relationships, client relationships and contacts network

Expert negotiating skills

Highly self-motivated

Flexible, reliable, strong work ethic, dependable team player, positive, constructive attitude

Proven and accurate forecasting skills

Outstanding business etiquette skills

Knowledge of products and technologies including current and potential applications

Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to visit customers, dealers and trade shows

Strong communication and presentation skills


Formulates and executes strategies to achieve maximum sales volume for products and/or services while maintaining gross profit margins

Leads marketing campaign on existing and new product categories

Expands the company’s sales into markets not currently served

Cultivates productive, long-term relationships with key customers

Identifies customer needs and provides reasonable solutions

Analyzes market for trends and the activities of potential customers, competitors, and product preferences

Recommends product improvements and identifying new product opportunities

Maintains a professional image when working with customers

Ensures the best possible level of service to the company’s dealer partners and customers

Assists with company trade shows and industry events

Leads sourcing: researching and building lists of potential clients

Books appointments with the intention of conducting prospective client meetings & presenting

Writes sales proposals for commercial evaluation

Directs marketing and sales activities to exceed assigned revenue objectives

Works effectively and efficiently to attain or exceed assigned quotas

Directs the development of short and long range plans to achieve objectives and recommends goals to higher management

Develops and reviews quarterly plans to meet or exceed revenue and achieve corporate objectives

Advises management on status or action required in connection with existing and potential sales opportunities and marketing/sales programs and recommends actions/solutions

Responds to RFQs/RFPs. Identifies and leverages resources to achieve wins in multiple markets

Cultivates and maintains relationships with key clients and strategic partners

Assists sales with all aspects of the selling cycle as needed

Directs customer engagements and identify needs and future business opportunities

Develops GTM plan and strategy

Performs and reports forecasting of sales and opportunities

Works cooperatively in a team effort with various internal and external resources to gain support for territorial clients specific needs and requirements


Base salary with commissions paid on received sales on a monthly basis, no cap

Sales bonus structure paid at annual performance review

All expenses and travel fees paid
