Site Supply PlannerMolex, Inc. - Pinellas Park, FL
Molex is seeking a dynamic and experienced Master Production Scheduler. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for review of capacity management for the manufacturing plant, facilitates and drives plant S&OP, creates demand plans for components and raw materials and creates and maintains Master Production Schedule.
Own and Develop Plant RCCP (Generic and Specific)
Analyze all work centers and hierarchies for capacity overloads and under-loads (vs. Plant Demand, global demand plan), to establish which work centers/hierarchies will require further investigation as part of the Supply Planning Review.
Collects all the Demand & Supply data required for the Plant Supply Review meeting
Ownership of Story Board development which consists of proposing initial categorizations (1,2,3,4) and reasons (man, machine, material) which are finalized during the Supply Planning Review and are reported to product management & included in the Executive Meeting.
Liaise with Global Demand Forecasters on demand clarifications
Loading of low risk component demand plans into APO at plant level based on Plan for Every Part (PFEP)/Product Segmentation Analysis which drives ATO.
Co-ownership of inventory related metrics (with planners / buyers) for strategically planned products.
Serve as single-point-of-contact in the plant for the Global Supply Planner & Inventory Planner in resolving identified issues or making changes.
Work with Global Supply Planner, Planners / Buyers, & Operations on short- & medium-term actions to address delivery performance lead time compliance issues.
Liaise with GSP’s, GIP, Planners / Buyers, and Demand Planning to review recommended SS for the site, explain rationale & get consensus.
Ownership of Site Planning Material Master Data Management
Develop, maintain and review the master production schedule as applicable.
Publish monthly plan attainment report
APICS CPIM certification OR Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Materials, Production Planning/Scheduling
Obtain APICS CPIM certification will be a requirement
Practical knowledge of SAP MM/PP/SD modules as well as Business Warehouse
Both APICS CPIM certification and a bachelor’s degree
IATF16949 Automotive QMS Experience
Experience in Stamping, Plating, Molding or Assembly production environments
Knowledge of APO
