SUMMARY:

Oversees and coordinates all maintenance and repair programs of the service line’s fleet of pressure pumping equipment to ensure the fleet is available, reliable and efficient per operational requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:

Establishes and maintains a sound Predictive/Preventive Maintenance Program to maximize utilization and reliability of the fleet.

Analyzes maintenance and repair costs to provide recommendations on fleet utilization and replacement.

Assists in the development of a maintenance budget by providing input relative to policy, costs and established metrics.

Establishes and maintains best practices in the use of the Fleet Management Information System and telematics to manage all assets; Recommend systems improvements and enhancements.

Conducts regular meetings and maintains communication with local maintenance managers, operations management, procurement and other support groups to drive uniformity of operations and maintenance/repair best practices.

Evaluates cost efficiencies of service agreements with external suppliers versus internal service centers.

Participates in the recruitment and selection of maintenance personnel as required.

Identifies maintenance/repair employee training requirements and ensure successful completion as required.

Communicates with equipment manufacturers concerning equipment problems and improvements; builds and manage relationships with key manufacturers/suppliers; manages warranty programs and reimbursement processes.

Ensures effective customer presentations and communications concerning the Service Line’s maintenance, repairs and equipment reliability programs.

Authors and publishes technical and/or maintenance content to internal and external sources.

Understands and adheres to all safety regulations and applicable Cudd Energy Services Policies.

Ensures Compliance to Stimulation Standards & Procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES:

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited institution.

A minimum 10 years in Fleet Maintenance/Repairs and prior management experience in pressure pumping related equipment and services.

Language Skills

Advanced public speaking and presentation skills.

Must be able to clearly communicate ideas and information throughout all levels of the organization in English.

Computer Skills

Must be able to use a Windows-based personal computer.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Proficient in advanced Fleet Management Information Systems, GPS, Telematics, and Equipment Controls, Electronics.

Other Technical Skills

Financial Management Skills, understanding a profit and loss template (P&L)

Cost Planning & Analysis (Equipment Operating Costs including Maintenance & Repair, Consumables, Fuel, etc.).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position may be required to complete a functional test quantifying the physical requirements for the essential functions of the position.

Employee must be physically able to perform all essential job functions required in this position.

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, hear, talk and smell.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

May be required to wear or use a respirator.

OTHER QUALIFICATONS:

Complies with all Company Quality Management System Standards, Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions.

Supports the CES Quality Policy Statement.

Performs all work in accordance with established RPC and Company specific Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions.
