Senior Visual Designer

We are looking for an experienced visual designer adept at exploring possibilities, inspiring action and contributing beautifully designed solutions that ship across first-and-third-party products. Thriving in the team’s start-up culture requires a growth mindset, exceptional communication and design skills, an innate ability to deal with ambiguity, and taking ownership of the experience to ensure optimal execution. Experience in turning ideas into something useful and valuable is essential.
•Collaborate with designers and design leadership to develop our visual language/system and apply it across our portfolio of products.
•Drive storytelling via different mediums; work with others to create high production videos, photography, motion graphics, and 2D/3D comps.
•Manage fidelity in order to efficiently explore design concepts, iterate and validate design alternatives, and generate consensus/excitement.
•Partner with designers, researchers, engineers, and scientists to drive designs to final implementation.
•Effectively use and a master a variety of tools for communicating ideas to designers, engineers and internal/external partners.
•Understand, advocate, and solve for Microsoft and third-party brand requirements; nimbly adapting their visual style to align with our customers’ brands.
•MA in Visual Design, Visual Communication, interaction Design, HCI, Product Design or equivalent
•5 years’ industry experience working with a variety of consumer and enterprise brands; shipping beautiful and intuitive experiences.
•Detail-oriented Fluency in digital and environmental design, across multiple platforms and devices.
•Deep understanding of typography, color, layout and motion design principles.
•Experience creating and managing brand libraries and visual guidelines.
•Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
•Both a self-starter and team-oriented, with a willingness to teach and learn.
•Passionate about design and technology trends
•Mastery of 2D, 3D and motion tools.
•Portfolio review required
