The Senior User-Experience (UX) Designer is responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews, and surveys, and translating them into user journeys, sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes. Work with product teams to help drive a user centered design approach that aligns with the enterprise business initiatives. Be part of a UX practice looking for fresh and creative ideas to help shape our strategic enterprise initiatives.Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces

Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs

Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive and natural user experiences

Facilitate product visions through research

Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions to solve these problems

Collaborate with UX team members helping to evangelize the practice to enterprise stakeholders

Education and Experience:

BFA or Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience

5 or more years of digital design experience, preferably experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.

Requires Skills and Competencies:

Expertise in UX software such as Sketch, Invision, UXPin or equivalent. HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus

Ability to work with multiple product teams, and quickly be able to grasp clear understanding of the strategic goals to quickly provide a UX Direction

Design user experiences that meet product stakeholders’ vision, while not losing site of the user centered design approach

Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design

A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns

Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solution

Passionate about learning and continuous improvement

Take smart risks and champion new ideas

Communication – Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. This includes the ability to describe or explain complex processes and issues in a concise manner

Persuasion and collaboration – Nurtures and builds effective partnerships with clients to achieve results; team player, comfortable working on multiple teams/projects simultaneously and independently, as needed

Critical thinking – Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions
