Our facilities, along with our external contractors, suppliers, and partners, comprise an interdependent global manufacturing network that\u2019s committed to delivering a compliant, reliable supply to customers and patients on time, every time, across the globe\/GENERAL PROFILE:Will assist the Site Services Lead as needed in special assignments.\u00a0Will serve as the primary contact for the site for life safety issues.Will be proficient in the operation of the sites fire alarm systems and life safety systems. Will be able to trouble shoot each of these systems.Will be able to work within SAP being able to generate a PM list, print list, input times and material, review all submitted PM's for accuracy and TECO as needed.\u00a0Will be able to enter notifications within SAP on any systems to correct deficiencies teaming with all areas to correct issues while minimizing impact on production.Will enter all change requests on all compliance systems as needed.Will work with different vendors for each of these systems as needed.Will issue hazardous work permits as needed.Will maintain certification in CPR, First Aid and AED through either American Heart or American Red Cross and maintain a current and good standing.Takes actions necessary in controlling emergencies as outlined in the sites Emergency and Security Procedures.Help in ensuring that every area within site services is correctly following all compliance requirements.Works independently and within a team.Directs a team on a dotted line basis.Contributes to the performance and results of a departmentAdapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challengesDecisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from managerProvides technical guidance to employees and colleagues on all site fire protection, life safety and security systems.\u00a0Develop maintenance job plans assigning correct time schedules.\u00a0Develop new and revise existing SAP and maintenance procedures.Works within NFPA and Factory Mutual guidelines.Teams with local and state Fire Marshal's office and current insurance provider.Creates and tracks expense and capital project work.Coordinates with Site COE\u2019s, IPT\u2019s and GES.Know NFPA Life Safety Code 101 and be able to apply to all new construction, renovation and other changes to ensure compliance.Meet with code officials in project stage gate approvals and overall acceptance.Helps establish processes that ensure required Safety guidelines are followed and participates in divisional Safety Audit activitiesHelps in managing equipment location and status in SAP as well as related equipment drawings.Assists in deviation investigations for maintenance instruments, equipment, and systems.Support \/ lead major equipment related projects, including funding, change control and equipment qualificationObtains bids, reviews contracts, supervises, and follows-up on contract work including the auditing of time and material reports.Will be able to initiate, execute and close both expense and capital projects following all applicable procedures and guides.\u00a0Will work with the department\u2019s maintenance team in project management and execution.Will be able to create new preventative maintenance plans and revise current maintenance plans in SAP.Will attend all required project review and design meetings.\u00a0BUSINESS EXPERTISE:Applies technical skills to align staff activities with departmental metrics.Will need to complete required NFPA courses and the North Carolina EMT Basic course.Project management (manages project priorities \u2013 schedule & cost, installation)FUNCTIONAL EXPERTISE:Employee Development\/People ManagementLine PerformanceInformation TransferComplianceNFPA, Factory Mutual, Emergency Response, Security or Law EnforcementFinancialPROBLEM SOLVING:Identifies and resolves technical and operational problems;
