Seeking a highly motivated Development Director for a mobile game. Looking for a skilled project manager who is energized by creative problem solving. This is an opportunity to contribute to a largefranchise. You will report directly to the Lead Development Director and be responsible for delivering a large portion of the game.

Responsibilities:

Builds and maintains effective working schedules to ensure achievement of overall project development milestones.

Works with External Groups such as Outsourcing, Finance and Marketing

Helps plan events, features and releases. Tracks progress. Drives for successful completion of commitments

Maintains regular communication with team partners and stakeholders to ensure we hit our team goals.

Looks for ways to improve efficiency without compromising effectiveness and quality.

Anticipate and communicate problems and roadblocks to successful achievement of goals and milestones.

Able to extract and use data to establish bug trends and create predictability in hitting key launch milestones

Manage career development of direct reports, including development of individual development plans and regular 1:1 meetings.

Requirements:

Able to interpret design documents and project schedules to establish and communicate scope.

Experience working in, managing and optimizing a Live Content Pipeline

Confident operating in a fast-paced environment,

Ability to pivot smoothly and effectively.

Manage and maintaining team health and partner engagement levels.

Strong listening and communication skills - able to communicate team and project goals in a clear, concise and strategic manner.

Strong people management skills including the ability to clearly communicate performance expectations and provide regular feedback to improve employee performance; capable of managing performance and professional development of direct reports.

A good understanding of various disciplines and interdependencies that go into mobile development such as programming, art, design and audio.

Minimum 4 years free to play mobile game development or other related experience;

Minimum 2-years project management experience.

Knowledge of, and experience with, implementing and running agile methodologies, experience with Jira, MS Project, and Shotgun project management tools. Knowledge of, and proficient with, MS Word, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Perforce and Google Drive
