Job DescriptionWhole Foods Market is the world’s leading retailer of natural/organic foods with more than 400 stores in the US, Canada and the United Kingdom. The Loyalty Marketing Team is part of the larger Global Marketing and Communications Team and is tasked with designing and launching a national loyalty program for Whole Foods Market Customers to enjoy in our stores and in our digital channels. Reporting to the Director of Loyalty Marketing, the Senior Program Manager will support day-to-day management of the Rewards program and related initiatives. The Senior Program Manager will also work closely with the CRM team to help guide the program design and customer digital experience to drive program success at scale. The ideal candidate will have loyalty program experience, CPG or retail marketing experience, a proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external business partners, attention to detail and solid organization skills. Familiarity with digital channel strategy and execution, including app, web and CRM is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with cross-functional teams to develop and communicate the program planning and customer experience to enliven the program across all customer touch points including app, web, CRM and in-store.

Partner with CRM team to define customer journeys and customer experience strategy for national launch using learnings to date

Lead strategy, design, planning and execution for sun setting current customer pilot programs in anticipation of new national loyalty program.

Coordinate with Digital Product Management team to provide business requirements and deliver projects on time and on schedule across all channels.

Offer Management: Partner with merchandising and category teams to develop and optimize customer offer calendar, and optimize communication of offers through all channels.

Develop and optimize acquisition efforts, including in-store and partnerships, but also via cross-channel promotions, paid media, store openings, promo codes, campaign integration etc.

Consumer research: Write briefs and drive requests for customer insights and analytics with both internal teams and external partners which will inform program design and optimization.

Support customer service team by providing program updates and briefing them of program changes that might impact the customer experience, including FAQs and talking points.

Partner with team leader to prioritize projects, create new/approve existing timelines, establish deliverables and facilitate program execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5 years of relevant marketing experience, including 2 years managing components (preferably digital) of a loyalty program.

BA in Marketing or related field preferred: MBA or comparable work experience a plus.

Demonstrated experience driving measurable results through customer marketing efforts ideally in a retail or e-commerce environment.

Proven ability to build cross-functional partnership and inspire collaboration.

Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to command many details simultaneously.

Flexible approach to work and a continual desire to learn new things.

Excellent communication skills including ability to give clear direct feedback, set clear expectations and connect with people on a personal level.

Superior problem solving skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Strong quantitative skills and obsession with measuring performance a plus.

High comfort level with Excel and the rest of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of Atlassian tools – Confluence and Jira a plus.
