The Senior Product Manager will be operating within a dynamic, fast-paced, and agile IT development environment.  We are looking for candidates with broad IT leadership and the depth of experience to evolve the PCS team’s application suite within IT.  The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator and communicator who can handle adversity and manage conversations with both business and IT partners effectively. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Defines and analyzes problems and opportunities, actively engages in stakeholder conversations providing actionable recommendations on how to optimize the business of ITHelps the PCS Team with business context to define, formulate, and validate end to end capabilitiesDefines and manages a prioritized product backlog roadmapLeads presentation of project work, development activities, and results/findings to key stakeholdersResponsible for writing user stories, peer reviews of other backlogs and storiesNegotiates acceptance criteria for work results, negotiates release schedule, and accepts/rejects work of the teamPerforms market research on industry standards and best practicesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business or related field with 12 years relevant experience; Master’s degree with 8 years experience; or equivalent professional experience12 years of relevant IT project, product, reporting and analytics experienceExperience with two of the following: lean startup methodologies, agile development methodologies, working directly with clients Experience with site search usability, optimization, and associated technologies Experience shipping successful products, including defining vision, strategy, outcome-driven product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogsExperience articulating and testing product hypothesesDemonstrated ability to define and track KPIs and other measurable success criteria Experience working within and across global teams and stakeholder groups Experience in Agile development Deep user empathy and strong user experience sensibilitiesExperience closely collaborating with engineers and designers as part of small co-located teamsDemonstrated ability to get things done in a rapidly changing environmentAbility to break down complex problems into actionable stepsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt your communication style for the audienceAbility to facilitate collaborative decision-making in a workshop contextAbility to quickly understand a specific client domain and identify the trends and opportunities in that spaceAdept at handling adversity, tactful in conversations with executive leadership and operational leads alikeStrong presentation, leadership, business influence, and project management skillsMust be legally authorized to work in the US with no restrictions; visa sponsorship not offered with this positionBenefitsWe offer highly competitive salaries, bonus programs, world-class benefits, and unparalleled growth and development opportunities — all to create a compelling and rewarding work environment.If you can keep groundbreaking projects on track, this is your opportunity to develop with Dell.
