The Senior Data Analyst participates in the analysis of pharmacy data related to product delivery, healthcare costs and service quality.  The analyst works with the information from a variety of sources to develop a data analysis framework.

Job Responsibilities

Designs/develops/modifies/troubleshoots complex methods supporting business process analysis. 

Aligns process variables to reporting attributes; maintaining relationship between the core processes and reporting platform.

Performs proactive and reactive analyses to ensure data integrity and opportunities for improvements.

Participates in and supports multiple internal levels of management in the analysis and evaluation of initiatives, projects, and issues.

Participates in efforts to implement ongoing process management mechanisms (process mapping, documentation, metrics, monitoring systems and process control techniques).

Directs activities of other personnel as required.

','!*!Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical field and at least 5 years experience or High School diploma/GED and at least 8 years of experience.  The experience should be with relational datasets, data warehouses, and data analysis techniques.

Experience with SQL statements and SQL scripting; including PLSQL.

Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions.

Experience with project management (planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).

Experience in identifying issues and recommending and implementing short and long term strategies to resolve problems.

Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.

Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

PMP Certified

Six Sigma Greenbelt or equivalent experience in another process improvement methodology (Lean, Kaizen, etc.).

BPM – Business Process Management experience
