Senior Payments Engineering Developer (Lead)

for Western Union (San Francisco, CA) – Provide software solution implementation including: system set-ups, development, system and integration testing, and user training. Liaise with business partners to understand their needs and proactively lead them to solutions. Analyze technical requirements, develop functional solutions, and document results. Perform business process orchestration, event processing, administration, optimization and performance tuning of web applications. Integrate solutions with banks, acquirers and processors in an ecommerce environment. Ensure the development and architecture teams operate efficiently through the use of best practices, processes and tools. Utilize architecture design concepts and techniques to communicate and evangelize those concepts to a broad based team.

Requirements include a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related; and progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience (3 year’s with Master’s or 5 years with Bachelor’s) as a Programmer Analyst, or related software developer occupation; which must include some experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO Business Events development; TIBCO Administrator, EMS, BusinessWorks, Business Events, Hawk, Business Events Extreme and Adapters; Java, J2EE, JSP, EJB, HTML, XML, Web 2.0, AJAX, REST, JSON Web Services, Oracle Database and PL-SQL.
