Senior Market Manager - Corporate Security




What you’ll be doing...

The Market Senior Manager has all security and risk mitigation responsibilities for the Market and works closely with Market and HQ Leadership.

The Senior Manager sets Market strategies and oversees a team responsible for protecting the company’s assets, employees and Brand. This includes making decisions that reduce overall risk and impact the Market’s profitability, and developing programs that enhance the Market’s security, compliance and safety posture. This position is responsible for setting the Market’s security strategy and investigatory, risk management and employee safety standards. This position contributes to the development and implementation of corporate security policies and is accountable for ensuring that corporate and team goals are met.

Set Market security and risk mitigation strategies and lead corresponding initiatives. Manage and develop a team of investigators and analysts.

Develop and manage a budget.

Partner with and influence Market Leadership in support of Security and company risk mitigation and employee/customer safety initiatives.

Responsible for managing and conducting company-wide investigations of employee and third party violations of corporate policies, government regulations and the law.

Responsible for developing investigative plans, gathering and evaluating facts, conducting interviews, writing investigative reports, handling calls of an emergency nature, and interfacing with the law enforcement/intelligence community.

Develop and execute programs that mitigate company losses and brand impact, and enhance overall security and employee/customer safety.

Utilize investigative and risk assessment results to identify business risks, control weaknesses, and systemic problems with company systems and operations. Develop strategies for the implementation of policies and procedures, and creation or modification of systems to prevent or minimize loss or liability.

Support the activities of Market counsel, and the overall Compliance program to minimize risk and loss exposure.

Support the design, implementation, testing and evaluation of corporate-wide physical/electronic security programs.

Identify process or system shortcomings and provide improvement recommendations.

Select and supervise third party vendors in support of Market initiatives.

Support special-events and help devise security solutions catered to meet the needs of each event.

Participate in the Market’s Crisis Management team and support the Company’s BC-DR program.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Six or more years of corporate security experience encompassing investigations, asset protection, risk assessments, analysis, and special event security.

Six or more years of experience conducting sophisticated investigations and knowledge of control enhancements.

Six or more years of experience working with leadership on all aspects of investigations and security programs.

Experience with law enforcement practices involving investigation, prosecution, and providing testimony.

Willingness to travel on short notice.

Willingness to respond on a 24x7/365 basis.

Even better if you have:

A degree

Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or equivalent certificate.

Civil or criminal litigation support experience.

Established network in the law enforcement and security communities.

Strong knowledge of wireless operations.

Ability to effectively influence business leaders.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a changing environment with urgency and extreme attention to detail.

Strong analytical, statistical reporting and research skills.

Strong management experience- supervising and motivating employees, project management, leading team projects, budgeting and other general management skills.

Excellent communications skills. Ability to write concise investigatory reports and executive summaries.

Ability to produce and deliver effective training material.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to recognize and evaluate company exposure potential.
