ROLE OVERVIEW:

Located at EA’s global headquarters, this Senior Finance Manager role reports into the Senior Finance Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, and will provide an excellent opportunity to be a collaborative business partner and trusted advisor for the Central Marketing Organization (CMO). CMO is responsible for planning and execution of long-term strategic marketing initiatives for all franchises across the globe.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Finance Manager (FP&A) role will be responsible for supporting the Global Communications Group (GCG), Global Brand Management (GBM) and Music Business Groups. The Global Communications Group is comprised of the following groups: Content & Digital Strategy, Design, Community Engagement, Global Campaign Management, Corporate Communications, PULSE, and Events. In this role, the Senior Finance Manager will lead a team consisting of a Finance Mgr, two Senior Financial Analysts as well as a dotted line management of a Financial Analyst in Hyderabad, India.

+ Business Partnering – Support the aforementioned CMO groups to help deliver management results while staying on budget. This person will drive and assist the teams to provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis to assist with decision making and value creation.

+ Total Company M&S: Global Campaign Management support – responsible for coordinating across other M&S groups to provide a holistic M&S campaign support view, enabling business decision support. Scope includes ensuring accurate expense recognition alignment and master budget control document project work with Publishing constituents.

+ Financial Control - this person will lead the team responsible for purchase order approvals, budgeted spend tracking, monthly close activities, forecasting, analyzing and reporting on GCG, GBM and Music spend.

+ Operational efficiency – Drive team performance/output through reporting and analysis standardization, finding efficiencies, and managing workload.

+ Communication and Collaboration – Partnering with other FP&A groups (e.g. Publishing, Studios, and Corporate) to ensure we are behaving as one team.

+ Ad Hoc – projects as necessary. Examples include GBM financial package support and driving process improvements across both business partners and finance partners.

+ Lead the Team/People Management – Develop a high-performing team, supporting team members in their development and achieving their career goals.Experience• BS degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting preferred• MBA preferred• At least 8-10 years of experience in a divisional or corporate finance role (FP&A or accounting)• Proven managerial experience – hiring, managing, and developing staff

Skills & Capabilities• Extensive experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis.• Advanced knowledge of the principles, processes, and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting.• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking/creative problem-solving skills.

• The ability to compile, analyze, interpret and present complex financial reports, statements and/or projection• Proactive, Detailed, and Complex time and task management skills.• Strong drive for data integrity, process definition, and organizational alignment.• Effective when working independently and as a team player who can work collaboratively within a group and across divisions/functions.• Exemplary oral communication and interpersonal skills (cross-functional team environments).• Strong initiative and desire to drive change and enhance processes. Ability to proactively identify business risks and opportunities.• Ability to manage through the gray and provide appropriate and actionable recommendations.

• Highly proficient with MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.• Experience and proficiency with financial programs like Hyperion Essbase and Oracle
