- Prepare the expense forecast, budget and analysis for key areas of the Chief Medical Officer Organization as well as be a point of contact for finance matters for that organization

- Prepare the monthly close entries for the assigned functions and work closely with the Corporate Shared Service Center and Record to Report (R2R) to ensure all relevant documents and information supporting the monthly financial close are accurately reflected

- Prepare and distribute monthly departmental expense reports and provide department managers with analysis and explanations of key variances

- Provide finance consulting and advice to the leadership team as well as assist with strategic planning

- Coordinate and analyze periodic forecasts of actual versus budget performance for the assigned function(s), validate submitted forecasts and input forecasts into Hyperion.

- Assist with the management of and coordination of the purchase order process in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing and Shared Services teams

- Manage, coordinate and validate work force plan information in collaboration with HR.

- Work closely with the Finance Shared Service Center to ensure complete and accurate accounting

- Develop monthly/quarterly reports with metrics

- Align with IT Project Managers to ensure proper accounting of Capital projects

- Preparation of presentations for Franchise leadership.

- Ensure integrity of financial data by regularly reviewing and reconciling data shared between key financial applications used within the function.

- Ad-hoc projects as required



B.S. Accounting or Finance. 7-10 years of experience with minimum 5 years in a financial analysis role. Experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

- 7+ years experience within Accounting/Finance function with at least 5 years in a financial analysis role.

- Excellent skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and experience with integrated accounting software. Knowledge of business intelligence software e.g. Business Objects, OBIEE, and Hyperion a plus.

- Ability to identify existing or potential deficiencies in operating processes or procedures and proactively recommend solutions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management
