Content Manager, Global Internal Communications \u2013 Location: Any-North America Cognizant Internal Communications Overview Cognizant is expanding its Global Internal Communications team to accelerate the company\u2019s cadence of business and strategic communications for our global associates, drive employment engagement and retention, and elevate our diverse, dynamic and innovative culture through internal communications best practices and tools. Job Description Cognizant Global Internal Communications is looking for a strategic, creative Content Manager to drive a cohesive content strategy across our Internal Communications channel ecosystem. The successful candidate must have a passion for storytelling with experience in designing and executing content strategies that engage, inspire and inform a diverse global audience. Must have keen editorial instincts, an ability to synthesize complex information and transform it into compelling content for internal audiences, a passion for multi-media storytelling, and experience in publishing on content management platforms. Excellent English-writing skills are required. Journalism background preferred. Responsibilities
Source, develop and publish content across the Internal Communications channel ecosystem in alignment with Internal Communications strategy and corporate priorities.
Create, edit, proofread, approve and publish new content while ensuring it meets standards of excellence and aligns with Cognizant\u2019s brand voice.
Manage the day-to-day editorial flow and content production of Cognizant\u2019s intranet and additional digital channels.
Collect, analyze and report on metrics across digital channels to determine effectiveness.
Manage an editorial calendar that engages associates in Cognizant culture, addresses topical issues, and maintains a steady drumbeat of ongoing business and strategic communications.
Research and pursue new and innovative tools and methodologies for internal storytelling.
Manage extended team of freelance writers and content contributors.
Skills & Experience Required:
5 years\u2019 experience in communication roles in a corporate or agency environment; at least one year\u2019s experience in corporate internal communications
Proven proficiency in writing English-language communications for large, diverse audiences
Proven proficiency in creating content strategy
Natural curiosity and passion for storytelling
Versed in new and emerging Internal Communications technologies and practices
Ability to think creatively and strategically
Experience in creating and publishing content on digital content management systems
Passionate about driving employee engagement

Collaborate with copywriters and designers to brainstorm, research, shape and package posts for the global RL audience of more than 20,000 employees
Form successful partnerships across multiple areas of the company by soliciting input from senior management and interview internal subject matter experts to develop the perspective needed to craft each communication for the intended audience and business goal
Translate complex brand and business initiatives and programs into simplified, appealing and understandable storytelling
Preserve Ralph Lauren\u2019s authoritative, elegant and engaging brand voice
Requirements \u2022 4 years of professional writing experience in a strategic communications, public relations or business writing/journalism role

Proven writing, editing and proofreading skills in a variety of mediums and strong command of English grammar and punctuation
Proficiency in InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop, KeyNote/PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to work independently, self-motivate and take initiative on multiple simultaneous projects
More proactive than reactive \u2014 an innovative thinker who sees opportunity everywhere and can package/frame content in multiple ways
Patience and creative flexibility to revise work as needed
Excellent verbal communications skills
Knowledge of the latest Web and social media trends, techniques and technologies
