What is the Senior Manager, Services Go to Market responsible for?

The Senior Manager, Services Go to Market is directly responsible for the successful execution of new Services customer acquisition business strategies and revenue channels. This individual will be directly responsible for delivering revenue and growth each year as defined in business team annual financial goals. This person is responsible for implementing Services “grow the business” initiatives and solutions with the Services arena. They are responsible to hold people accountable to achieving the defined goals and benefits. This role is responsible for:

Develop, build, sell and implement solutions that allow Services to acquire new customers via alternative channels.

Identify and partner with internal and external cross functional teams in developing & designing customer acquisition programs through alternative channels (commercial, B2B2C, vendor relationships, etc.)

Establish and leverage effective ways to develop the growth of new business partnerships.

Ensure service solutions are customer centric and enable Service overall priorities, goals & strategies.

Guide new partnerships through all legal, IT, marketing, billing, merchant, compliance and other supporting team approvals.

What is required for this role?

We are looking for a Senior Manager that can roll up his/her sleeves to do the work, be a part of a team, but also create and execute on the strategy. The most successful candidate will be someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is forward-thinking, progressive, understands the retail world and has a past track record of significant accomplishments and implementing strategic initiatives and growth.

In addition to having experience in the responsibilities above, the ideal candidate will have the following:

Basic Qualifications:

5 years of Business Development/Account Management experience

8 years of Services, Merchant, Retail or related experience

2 years of people and budget managerial or leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years of financial analysis experience

2 years of creating captivating and compelling PowerPoint presentations

Ability to successfully navigate a highly matrixed organization

Strong negotiation skills

Ability to influence without authority

Excellent communication skills—ability to communicate complicated information to executive-level professionals in a concise and accurate manner and energize teams toward action in short time-horizon

Ability to make decisions from various assumptions

Work independently and with limited direction
