The Senior Spotfire Administrator is responsible for administering the Spotfire platform. Additionally, the Senior Spotfire administrator is responsible for patching, Security, Release upgrades, SSO, Restarts, Performance, Configuration and Promotion management . The Senior Spotfire Administrator needs to work with Offshore partners, BI Platform Architect, and various BI stakeholders to ensure that the Spotfire platform is meeting customer needs.

Primary responsibility involves Spotfire admin operations management, issues escalation and resolution.

Secondary responsibility involves BO 4.x Support operations management, issues escalation and resolution.

Hands-on technical work in Spotfire administration including troubleshooting problems, escalating open issues, implementing solutions, and optimizing the system performance.

Responsible for code migration between non-production and production environments.

Ensure customer satisfaction targets are achieved and enhance customer service by owning service delivery professionally and adhering to System uptime SLA.

Engage vendor support/technical staff to assess issues and solution options and to analyze and resolve or escalate issues

Actively utilize and seek assistance from technical team and BI architects to analyze and understand solutions.

Analyze and fix problems, full unit testing and then deploy them to production. Collaborate proactively with functional users, analysts and other team members to ensure smooth break fix execution.

Understand business requirements, determine implementation strategy and translate into execution that conforms to best practices and standards.

Provide technical mentorship and coaching for the other team members in resolving complex issue

Ensure customer satisfaction targets are achieved and enhance customer service by owning service delivery professionally and adhering to Support SLA

Actively contribute to Knowledge base and provide creative ideas for knowledge management within the organization

Responsible for supporting business critical Medtronic Report distribution for Global solutions such as WWR and GSR

Collaborate and work very closely with BW support and BO admin team to deal with platform related issues

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

**EDUCATION REQUIRED**

GED/High School Graduate

**YEARS OF EXPERIENCE**

8 years of IT experience with a GED/High School Graduate

6 years of IT experience with Associate Degree

4 years of IT experience with a Bachelors Degree

2 Some IT Experience with a Masters Degree

**SPECIALIZED SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE:**

3 years of Spotfire Administration/Support experience.

Nice to Have:

Bachelor’s Degree

Knowledge of SAP Business Objects 4.x is desired.

Effective communication with high degree of escalation management experience

Works effectively and independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsible, takes ownership of support issues, and follows through to closure with in defined SLA.

Ability to multi-task and work with multiple technical teams such as DBA, Basis, security etc.

Self-motivated, self-managed, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills and perseverance to accomplishobjectives.

Excellent diagnostic, problem solving and issue resolution ability.

Able to quickly learn other tools and technologies in the BI reporting space.

Ability to assess status quo, and come up with new ideas to improve operational effectiveness or efficiency.

Broad knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data warehouse operations and support.

Strong Experience in Spotfire tools (Version 7.8) SAP BO client tools, such as IDT, UDT, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports and Dashboards

Experience with Oracle SQL language.
