Amazon seeks a highly effective Senior Financial Analyst to be a key partner with the Amazon Game Services and Game Studio teams. This position will play a key role in working with senior business leaders in managing and defining the long term direction of this business as we innovate in the gaming space. This role will be part of broader Digital/AWS Finance team in which you will be surrounded by people that are exceptionally talented, bright, and driven. To support this quickly growing business, you must be highly analytical and possess a strong passion for analytics and accountability, setting high standards, and razor-sharp accuracy. You have demonstrated ability to earn the trust of business partners, and act as a trusted consultant. You must have the ability to structure problems, perform analysis, and present to senior executives. Supporting business partners at Amazon requires the ability to dissent, while building trust with your business partners. Key Responsibilities · Serve as the key finance partner working directly with Game Studio senior management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations · Own the global P&L for the Game Studio business · Influence business decisions by effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modeling, and presentation of options and alternatives · Manage the budget for infrastructure expenses and headcount for the business · Conduct ad-hoc (e.g. life-time-value, valuation) analysis to support business development activities and new products planning · Support the financial planning and analysis processes with metrics and data insights for financial risks, opportunities, and investment decisions · Lead business teams in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual business performance reviews · Partner with internal Business Development and Corporate Development teams to identify strategic partnerships in the games space
Basic Qualifications· 4 years of relevant corporate finance experience. · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other technical discipline
