At GM environmental, we are geared towards developing creative solutions to complex environmental challenges. As an environmental engineer at Lansing Delta Township Assembly, you will have the opportunity to lead the waste and water compliance programs and be responsible for developing programs to reduce environmental risk. You will work collaboratively with diverse groups to create and implement best in class, sustainable solutions to improvement environmental compliance and sustainability across the site. We are currently looking for talented individuals who have a passion for the environment and who want to help make LDT Assembly a leader in environmental compliance and sustainability.

Job qualifications:

College degree with a major in engineering or related sciences with emphasis on environmental engineering.

7 years minimum experience in environmental engineering, with 2 years minimum at an auto related manufacturing or non-manufacturing operation.

CHMM certification, PE License or CEP certification preferred

Experience and working knowledge of Air Permitting, Storm Water Permitting, Wastewater Pretreatment Permitting and/or Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Requirements

Expertise in more than one environmental discipline or a highly-developed ability in one specialty area.

Experience leading, managing or overseeing environmental projects and initiatives.
