Job Summary:

The Sr Director of Procure to Pay (P2P) provides leadership and overall direction to the P2P teams supporting our vendors, communities and residents across the country. As a global process owner, you will oversee approximately $300M transactions in a fast-paced, large multi-site environment. This role will drive continuous improvements of P2P processes and systems, routinely review and implement best practices, manage adherence to regulatory guidelines, internal/external departmental audits, and ensure all services are provided in a timely & accurate manner. The Senior Director will provide training and associate development to maximize team performance and engage with all internal and external customers to ensure the highest quality of customer service is delivered.

Your Responsibilities:

Responsible for systems and policies to enable procurement activities across 900 communities and 80,000 associates

Maintain key partnership with Strategic Sourcing to ensure strategic vendors are properly configured per contract and products/catalogues are properly available to community consumers

Change management and continuous transformation to improve the P2P value streams and automation for Operational and Capital spend. Utilize technology to create and ensure compliance with key controls, approvals, and provide key metrics for internal and supplier performance

Manages strong internal control environment and ensure compliance to key SOX controls

Leads compliance and regulatory efforts for P2P team

Manage PCard compliance, fraud and risk management

Ensures that all Key Performance Indicators are being actively managed to ensure Service Level Agreements are met for all communities and vendors

Communicates and collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders and other process leaders through transparency and partnership

Supports Change Management activities and the development and training of Team Members

Prepare and present strategic sourcing strategies to senior management

Required skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 7 years of procurement experience in a high volume, multi-site environment

Hands on experience with full cycle of order-to-pay with an understanding of best practices and metrics for Procurement, Travel and Entertainment and Accounts Payable services; ability to utilize metrics to identify improvement opportunities and ability to apply best practices to departmental operations

Strong employee management skills with experience in leading large hourly teams; ability to plan, assign and direct work; ability to recruit, mentor and appraise employees. Experience in building and growing high-performing teams

Excellent customer service and communication skills; influencer and motivator able to develop effective partnerships with cross functional teams and upper leadership

Develop and maintain vendor relationships and ability to influence and partner with key internal and external stakeholders

Strong analytical background, research and data analysis-cost structure analysis

Proficient in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word. Data analysis tools and financial analysis techniques

Comfortable with ambiguity; willing to make tough decisions, challenge conventional thinking and demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
