Job Summary: The Senior Director of Sales oversees and works in conjunction with Sales Managers, Home Health Directors, and local Home Health sales teams to direct and initiate sales processes, tools and technologies for multiple home health agencies within their respective area. The Senior Director of Sales will be responsible for managing, developing, monitoring sales and marketing processes and performance needed to support growth of the business and in accordance to Area Vice President and/or overall company strategic plans. This position works closely with Business Development and Community leaders as well as Area & Division Vice Presidents of Home Health. The Senior Director of Sales will be responsible for providing thought leadership and analytical guidance towards the achievement of determined sales objectives by developing and providing strategies in conjunction with Sales Managers and appropriate business development teams as well as action steps, analytics and insights to customer teams for Brookdale Healthcare Services (BHS). Identifying customer strategies; Monitoring Customer forecasts vs. Budget and identifying and communication gaps on an ongoing basis; coordinating materials to support a sales and marketing function. The selected candidate will possess the ability to present analysis and to make clear recommendations on objectives needed to build relationships and facilitates the flow of information in a credible manner both internally and externally while providing decision-making suggestions needed to improve performance outcomes. The individual will be supporting the Sales and Business Development functions and will report directly to the VP of Strategic Planning. Your responsibilities: * Successfully market and position BHS programming within assigned territory. Support team in achieving and exceeding all established business goals internally and externally for the Area in which they are responsible * Recommend, determine and implement the proper sales process and tools. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the lead tracking/management system. Monitor agency lead and business tracking systems, sales tools and resources to ensure compliance with system usage and follow up statistics * Plan and conduct sales meetings in collaboration with Sales Managers to inform, train, and motivate representatives as indicated. Key Communication link to the sales organization regarding Sales processes, strategies and other relevant information. Oversees the sales and marketing plans as well as the use of each agency's marketing dollars to assure optimal exposure and maximum efficiencies * Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing to ensure promotional plans support and drive category brand growth. Partner with the Business Development teams to pull thru goals, programs and alignment with established business priorities * Maintain a high level of knowledge of the industry, and healthcare trends. Partner with Home Health Outreach Coordinators and the agency teams in the development and modification of short and long-range agency marketing plans and budgets by providing competitor information, data and feedback * Assist in interviewing, hiring, training and coaching of all BHS Home Health Outreach Coordinators (OC), and Sales Managers * Lead and manage Agency teams within area to sell promoted products to all customers according to the direction of management. Analyze account sales, utilization, and trends via sales reporting to ensure optimum coverage of all customers and potential customers * Conduct regular Sales Team collaboration sessions in conjunction with Sales Managers to identify and remove barriers to support business growth * Ability to assess, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from a variety of data sources. Mine extensive data points, interpret data and develop solid recommendations to enables sales and marketing. Candidate will also analyze account sales, utilization, and trends via sales reporting * Monitor marketing and sales team performance expectations. Assess the skills and abilities for each Sales Manager. Coach, train and motivate as appropriate to achieve success. Review and analyze weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports to ensure accuracy of information and to make recommendations for necessary changes * Visit each agency within this designated area on a scheduled basis, approved by the VP of Strategic Planning and Division Vice Presidents. Partner with Sales Manager to align with community Sales teams and Executive Directors in the execution of the sales and marketing programs and strategies to develop and create a health and wellness continuum as defined by the community's business plan. Lead and participate in team meetings within their designated area * Partner with BHS Training and Development as well as Home Health Directors and Sales Manager's to actively design, lead and deploy sales training activities for their respective area. Provide adequate training, coaching, follow-up and development of sales teams and/or Sales leaders as determined appropriate and consults in all phases of their work including career development * Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the VP of Strategic Planning

Job Requirements
Required skills and qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field from a four year college or university is preferred * Ten plus years of experience in sales/marketing, with a minimum of 5 years managing large sales teams (50 ) * Expert knowledge of and experience with CRM platforms is required * Experience in home health care is required * Experience managing revenue targets over $100M required * Experience designing and implementing analytics/dashboards, CRM platform, Onboarding and training programs required If you're a Brookdale associate, please consider referring someone through the Good People Program!
