The Senior Director Luxury Field Marketing is part of the Americas Brand, Marketing and Digital leadership team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategy for the Luxury brands, inclusive of brand campaigns, digital marketing execution, brand experience partnerships, and field marketing deployment. This position will require the incumbent to leverage key internal partners (marketing and eCommerce teams, centers of excellence, and knowledge experts) and external partners (media and creative agencies and PR team). This leader has primary responsibility to develop annual marketing plans including creative development, media planning, field marketing and regional plans for the luxury brands.

Education and Experience

4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, marketing or related field required.
6 years of relevant professional experience in marketing or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.

Key Skills and Experiences

Experience in luxury hospitality or retail industry preferred
Previous experience as a member of a senior executive or regional team
Experience leading agency relationships productively
Ability to handle the complexities of working with senior leaders and regional stakeholders
Ability to synthesize and interpret information, communicate actionable insights, and develop multi-year marketing plans based on insights
Proven ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams in support of specific business priorities
Team player that works well with counterparts from various functions/departments and has the ability to influence the work of counterparts without direct reporting accountability
Experience identifying need for and interpreting customer research and marketing analytics
Must be skilled in developing and executing integrated marketing communications approaches, to include TV, print, online, experiential, direct marketing, etc.
Must have experience managing media plans, creative development and production for both online and offline communications
Ability to deeply understand brand business needs and translate those needs into actionable and measurable marketing plans that drive commerce and elevate consumer perceptions of the brand
Can work collaboratively with the digital and social teams
Can operate in a matrixed organization with brand, owner, marketing, and continent stakeholders
Has a strong creative point of view balanced with refined business analytics skills


Communicate brand standards and brand voice; supports regional compliance with brand standards
Develop annual marketing plans including creative development, media planning, field marketing and regional plans
Oversee property-level marketing planning to ensure business targets and key brand strategies are appropriately represented in property marketing plans
Understand the competitive environment and the local customer attitudes / behaviors
Develop and implement integrated programs for key market in response to customer needs, market trends, key competitors, brand direction, and stakeholder needs
Pro-actively monitor markets across the continent to assess competitive position, build on program strengths and bolster current programs
Review property plans, marketing output and ensure best practices are followed
Collect and share best practices for plans and campaigns across managers
Manage relationships with Americas Centers of Excellence, Knowledge Experts and key global teams

Manage relationships with senior property leadership (e.g., owner groups with multiple properties)
Participate in the strategic development and planning of future program structural enhancements, and program offers and promotions
Maintain key relationships in the Global Marketing team tlearn and share best practices, resources, and information
Identify regional partnerships tbuild the brands with field marketers, and maintain final approval of regional partnerships
Ensure tracking, reporting, and roll-up of field marketing results for marketing leadership team
Ensure proper activation of Marriott Rewards, RC Rewards and SPG at the regional and hotel level
Implement and partner with digital team tassesses the impact of social media strategies
Ensure print and digital advertising is activated consistently in the field
Hold regular, regional brand reviews talign and implement strategy consistently within regions
Lead marketing and ecommerce knowledge-sharing/best practices across regions
Act as a key liaison with key media and creative agency partners
Develop creative assets and content assets tsupport our media plans and content strategies in partnership with agencies
Lead all graphic and image activation for the brand including: brand voice, graphic standards, photand videstandards
Partner with Loyalty team tensure compelling and effective implementation of Rewards program
Drive template and process for hotel marketing plans
