Responsibilities

Sr. Director Franchise Operations is accountable for all performance metrics within their respective Districts including RPI growth, improving quality and customer satisfaction and loyalty program participation. Lead annual planning to align team with enterprise objectives and goals to drive engagement with franchisees and direct reports.

Effectively lead team to grow revenue generation opportunities and drive growth and performance (RPI)

Effectively recognize the talent management process creating a clear path for development and success

Influence and inspire teams to own the results of their territory by fostering an environment of growth and accountability

Retain the brand's most valuable customers and drive franchisees to engage with the brand and WHG initiatives

Lead and engage teams including field based staff to achieve challenging objectives

Effectively anticipate, prevent, identify and solve problems as necessary

Continuously learn new initiatives and stay current with industry trends and transfer this knowledge to the team effectively to drive WHG value proposition

Analyze portfolio performance and recommend solutions to increase this performance

Ability to effectively conduct crucial conversations with customers in regards to delicate topics, while maintaining the customer's trust and valued relationship, and know when to escalate issues to senior leadership

Make decisions that have a direct impact on financial goals and operations for the District

Identify, capitalize and measure critical next steps with owners for improvements to be made in their business models, or where Wyndham's tools and technologies can aide in their success

Ability and skills to train and mentor other field team members

Cultivate effective relationships with franchisees, general managers, WHG associates and acting as a champion for WHG culture.

Act in a leadership capacity to collaborate with business leads and own one of the following disciplines; Sales, Revenue Management, Technology and Quality. These disciplines must remain aligned with Sr. leadership goals. They are responsible for planning and effectively work with their leadership piers to operationalize the proposed plan based on each district's needs.

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements & Wok environment

Position entails exposure to interior and exterior hotel property environments inclusive of the multilevel properties, inclement weather (i.e. stairs, onsite restaurants, pool and exercise facilities, etc.)

Seamless continuation of work while traveling on company business (i.e. conduct work using mobile devices, from hotels, while at trade shows, and/or across varying time zones when necessary)

50 % travel with flexible work schedule

Work under pressure with extended hours/days when required, in order to meet deadlines

Must be able to independently prioritize and schedule multiple responsibilities

This position requires the ability to stand and be on your feet for approximately 30% of the day

This position requires the ability to sit and drive long distances for approximately 30% of the week

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to effectively present material to various audiences

Preferred Qualifications

4 year degree

6 to 8 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required, preferably, property and corporate management experience.

Multi-property experience

Industry certifications

3 to 5 years Leadership experience

3-5 years of Wyndham Operations experience (preferred)
