Position Summary

Senior Consultant within the Asset Management Group is a senior level position responsible for leadership within the Company’s Buildings, Infrastructure and Advanced Facilities (BIAF) Strategic Consulting Practice.

The Asset Management Group (AMG) consulting practice focuses on providing leadership to public and private sector organizations improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the management of the built environment. Engagements range from studies and implementation of asset management programs to business process re-engineering and portfolio optimization.

This Senior Consultant position is responsible for developing and maintaining the AMG consulting practice and growing both personal and market share in support of internal Jacobs’ opportunities and external client needs. The ideal candidate is a senior level individual with recognized expertise in organizational management, business process engineering and technical systems integration with the ability to consult, develop and execute strategies leading to organizational transformation. This individual will have demonstrated experience and expertise in developing successful approaches to clients that are consistent with the capabilities, services, and expertise within the Jacobs’ BIAF Strategic Consulting Practice. Services may range from strategic planning through program management and management advisory services.

The individual’s experience will include previous assignments or relationships at very senior levels within a consulting organization focused on both public and private sector clients and a demonstrated capability to identify opportunities, develop successful pursuits, and capture strategies for service types commensurate with those currently provided and envisioned by Jacobs.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate specific abilities and skills to develop new business and opportunities. Candidate’s experience and demeanor will demonstrate the ability to effectively interact and build long-term relationships with selected clients and provide them the capability to represent the full breadth and depth of Jacobs.

Qualifications

B.A./B.S.,or higher, degree in business administration, architecture, engineering, finance & accounting, or related field from an accredited university

Minimum 15 years related consulting experience required

Experience with operations management and enterprise related systems and technologies

Proven and dynamic leadership capabilities

Proven ability to leverage analytical skills and lead teams to complete technical assignments

Demonstrated business and personnel management abilities

Proven ability to work directly with clients in performing risk analysis, audits and development of corrective action plans

Ability to travel as necessary to meet project and client requirements

Ability to pass background checks and related due diligence for security clearance

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and be self-directed

Proven ability to work within a collaborative, team environment and coordinate activities between program components
