Position SummaryRockwell Automation is a $6 billion dollar worldwide brand. We are getting ready to launch a newly revamped brand strategy - one that will change the dialogue around industrial automation, elevate the power of our brand and help grow our success. We are investing heavily in our brand. And we need great thinkers, capability builders and strategists to help bring it to life. This role will be responsible for driving brand strategy across the organization, building brand strategy fundamentals as a core competency across global marketing and bringing our brands to life within the company and across the world.Essential functions:Establishing Brand Strategy as a Core CompetencyDevelop ground-up processes and tools for the Brand Strategy team; socialize across the company and establish brand strategy as a value-added partner.Spearhead analyses and compelling brand strategies for some of the company\u0027s most visible products and brands. Prioritize these major strategies in support of business unit strategies, gain executive buy-in across the company, and manage the implementation of these strategies.Provide analysis and synthesis on complex branding problems that require both analytical thinking and creative thinking.Establish brand profiles, personas, brand guidelines, visual ID and brand awareness and understanding campaigns.Growing Brand ValueUnderstand and apply a wide range of data-driven, quantitative and qualitative marketing and branding methodologies, such as drivers of choice, brand valuation, brand attributes, customer segmentation and others.Synthesize and convert this data into compelling creative insights and brand positioning ideas for Rockwell Automation's businesses and productsCreate compelling brand narratives and insights.Turn these insights into brand awareness and understanding campaigns that stand out and deliver results.Creating a Brand-centric MindsetSupport the development of brand training content and compliance with brand standards.Create compelling brand strategies, brand architectures, creative briefs, and packaging of brand communications across branded content, sponsorships and events.Be comfortable and excited by mining data, research, and intelligence reports for insights and implications.Conduct, field, and analyze market research and reports - consumer research and brand effectiveness studies.Responsible for the strategic development, implementation and execution of brand promotion and communication plans that optimize brand performance on time and within budget.Collaborates and coordinates closely with the marketing organization, brand agency, public relations and social media team and sales organization.Specific areas of focus include brand communication strategy, analytics, and overall execution of brand tactics as a part of an overall brand plan strategy.To provide high level analysis of potential marketing communication metrics to evaluate campaign ROI and insight into brand life cycle.Initiates and manages the process as it pertains to the review and approval of all marketing pieces for legal and regulatory approval.EOE, M/F/Disable, Vet#LI-JB1Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing, communications or equivalent. 8 years of experience in strategy/brand planning, preferably at a creative agency or brand consultancy with outstanding marketing experience at B2B or B2C companies.Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
