Associate Manager, Scale develops and manages the seamless execution of Scale

marketing programs to achieve business

objectives.   You will be accountable for executing

strategies and plans in partnership with internal multi-functional teams and

external creative, activation and promotions agencies.

The ability to collaborate with key internal colleagues and external partners,

manage multiple large-scale projects, all while achieving communications impact

throughout the marketing mix, is a must.

This role is part of the Marketing Services team and reports to the Manager, Scale US, and is based in our East Hanover, NJ headquarters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage Scale

program activities to support business objectives. Assess

opportunities for brands based on strategic fit, always ensuring linkage

of program activation plan and tactics back to the business objectives and

brand objective and strategy

Manage the flawless execution of the national

engagement, promotion, partnership tactical plan for Scale programs including:

o Consumer promotion development and execution (Contest,

Sweepstake, Games)

o POS/Merchandising creative evaluation working closely with Merchandising

Solutions Lead

o    Product sampling initiatives (in-store and experiential)

o    Experiential/events

o    PR

and Influencer programs

o    Social/Digital

activation

o    Promotional package design and execution

o    Premiums

o    Partners/Licensing

Manage timelines, creative development,

approvals, cross-functional communication/alignment

Manage day-to-day relationships with

agencies (creative, promotional partners, et.)

Own post-program analysis and make

recommendations for future improvements

Collaborating with various stakeholders to

ensure compliance and alignment with Mondelez policies and best practices

including Marketing Operations team (for budget, couponing and contest,

sweepstake and games), Procurement, Legal and Corporate Affairs.  Resolve

escalated issues and define risk mitigation plans when necessary.  Understand

and adhere to company policy and legal guidelines

Collaborate with US Commercial teams (Market

Leads, Sales Planning and Shopper Marketing and Merchandising Solutions) to ensure

scale programs address customer and shopper opportunities to for category and

brand growth:

o  Develop

programs and sales

communications to build awareness and 

“sell-in” marketing campaigns to ensure flawless field execution

o    Ensure on-time delivery of all sales decks and various

deliverables for commercial planning cycle

Actively manage the Scale activation

budget and proactively identify issues and opportunities.

Communicate to the Budget Operations team

which centrally manages activation spending and budget processes

','!*!MINIMUM EDUCATION AND CAPABILITIES:Bachelor's degree. Strongly preferred in marketing, advertising or                    communication or similar; MBA a plus

3 -5 years of experience in one or more of the

following areas:  consumer goods

marketing, media, creative or digital agency, promotions or consumer activation

·        Knowledge of brand strategy and communications

planning;  application across consumer

touch points and understanding of activation tactics

·        Knowledge of digital media practices and trends

·        Knowledge in consumer / shopper insights and

trends

·        Agency Management

·        Organized, detail-oriented and deadline

sensitive with proven project management experience

·        Ability to multi-task

·        Strong cross functional partnership skills

and ability to collaborate, communicate and build relationships with all levels

of the organization

·        Strong communication skills

·        Strong strategic, analytic and creative thinking

skills
