SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for providing financial expertise and analysis support to the Building Products Division. Responsibilities include Analysis of Monthly Results, Annual Budget, Business Decision/Performance Analysis, Monthly Rolling Forecast Preparation and Consolidation, Capital Investment Analysis and providing Business Decision Support.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and explain monthly manufacturing variances for assigned plant by comparing actual results to forecast, budget and prior year.
Lead team in all plant forecasting and budgeting, by providing training, maintaining master templates, ensuring data consistency and logic, and consolidating results.
Responsible for monitoring the capital needs of the business including tracking spend, forecasting, calculating payback, reviewing AFE (Authorization for Expenditures) for completeness, and ensuring AFE’s are closed out timely.  
Identify issues and proactively initiate analysis (product costing, material usage, spending, etc.)
Complete analysis of monthly financial results working closely with the Management supporting the Division Controller
Participate in weekly and monthly New Product Development meetings and support the financial needs of team through payback analysis, AFE (Authorization for Expenditures) support, and costing, product and pricing analyses.
Prepare presentations for the monthly meetings with the President & CEO and the Plant Operating Review (POR).
Develop, maintain and update standardized analytical tools
Investigate costing issues by drilling into BOM, routing and activity rates.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Advance degree in Finance/Accounting and CPA,CMA or FPA in addition to a BA/BS in Accounting.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
7 plus years of experience, including expeirence in the foloowing areas:

Cost accounting experience
Discounted cash flow and payback analyses (NPV/IRR)
Budgeting and forecasting in a manufacturing environment
Superior data management and modeling skills
Income and manufacturing variance computation and analysis
Performing break even and contribution margin studies
Modeling cost/volume/profit relationships
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong mathematical and analytical skills 
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail 
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
SAP experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office.  Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.  May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators.  Travel up to 10% including air travel or auto travel.
