The Senior Analyst-Ecommerce Finance will

provide complex and interpretive financial analysis to the division.  Specific areas of analysis would include

P&L analysis, innovation projects evaluation, portfolio analysis, trade

& marketing expense analysis, P&L analysis, costing and sourcing

analysis. The candidate must demonstrate financial leadership and direction by

working independently and cross functionally within the division, under minimal

supervision. Accuracy and thoroughness is required of this position to meet

Company financial commitments and objectives. The Senior Analyst will also be

responsible for documentation of planning processes and procedures and assist

in developing and delivering training materials.  Coordination of the process and communication

across the organization is critical.


Support Planning processes throughout the year. The

Senior Analyst is responsible for consolidating submissions, analyzing spending

requests, generating reports and other materials for management presentationsProfitability analysis for various business needs

including but not limited to SKU, Brand, Division and Customer for the divisionIdentifies trends and developments in the

competitive environments and presents findings to senior managementSupport ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs for the

division. This will include special projects, management requests and reports,

etc.Evaluates all significant new proposals for the

division. Process owner for the division to ensure consistency in analytical

principles across the division and ensures sound business decisions are madePerforms various marketing expense and trade

spending analysis to determine effectiveness

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance

or related area, MBA preferred4-6 years

work experience in the field or related areaWorking knowledge of SAP modules,

key bolt-ons & interfaces, and related interdependenciesStrong

experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Ability

and aptitude to work with technical aspects of financial information systemsGood

understanding of Newell Brands business processesStrong

knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting and financial reporting processesAbility to work well with others and as part of

a teamSensitivity to other cultures and cultural

differencesAbility to sell ideas and influence both peers

and senior members of the organizationStrong business, financial acumen and judgementInitiates projects based on business diagnosis;

works under minimal supervision and serves as business advisorThe successful candidate will be a self-starter with a proven

track record of problem solving and analytics, is comfortable with operating in

various financial systems, and can work across a matrix organizationStrategic

communication skills, both verbal and written
