Senior Analyst - Customer Data Analytics

The Customer Data Analytics team is responsible for driving data driven insights & innovation across Marketing, Loyalty, Merchandising, and eCommerce. Customer Data Analytics is part of the Enterprise Data Analytics organization, a dynamic group acutely focused on driving measurable results.

As a Senior Analyst, you will partner with business and technology teams to define and execute data analytics initiatives that create sustainable customer revenue, loyalty and share growth.

This role requires passion for understanding customer behavior through data and bringing actionable insights to life.

Partner with loyalty teams to analyze customer engagement to optimize campaign targeting and visualize partner performance

Understand and track purchasing behaviors across the merchandising product portfolio on all UA digital channels

Develop metrics and models to analyze initiative performance that will help personalize the customer lifecycle and travel journey

Partner with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, manage and implement strategic data insights and advanced analytics initiatives

Leverage analytical skill set to access data from multiple sources for ad hoc analyses, data visualizations and to drive innovation through new insights

Lead cross-team status meetings and manages frequent communication to stakeholders

Create and deliver presentations and visualizations as required

Airline experience is not required for this position.


Bachelor’s degree in a business or quantitative field

18 months of experience in business analytics

Strong passion for answering key business questions with data

Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze problems and independently develop efficient solutions

Ability to multitask and reprioritize activities quickly and effectively

Ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations on current and future business needs

Comfortable presenting to Executive-level stakeholders and able to communicate effectively with team members from all areas of the enterprise

Project management experience

Experience with: SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, Spotfire or other visualization tools

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


MBA or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field

Basic knowledge of SAS, R, Python or other database interface tools and languages
