Offer Development- Strategic Customer Group provides contracting support to the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, JJDCC (Johnson and Johnson Diabetes Care Companies) and Depuy/Mitek. The Senior Analyst role is responsible for managing Contract Documents between JJHCS (Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc.) and its customer. This position is responsible for the creation, negotiation, and management of price concessions agreements between JJHCS and its regional managed care customers. This will include partnering with Account Management, Pricing Strategy, Contract Strategy & Analytics, Commercial Program Legal Group, and JJHCS Regional Processing Center, and other key stakeholders to implement approved pricing strategies. This individual will have a primary alignment to the Directors of Offer Development in the Strategic Customer Group Strategic Contracting team and secondary alignment to the Senior Managers, who serve as the Learned Intermediaries for the development of contract templates and assist in the resolution of complex issues during customer negotiations. He/she will collaborate and partner with Account Managers, who serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. He/she will implement the SCG Contract Management Mission and Vision with their regional Managed Care customers for price. Responsibilities Draft offers for approved Pricing Strategies and negotiate Master Agreements, Product Documents, Notices, Waivers, etc. (\Contract Documents)\, with customers that are assigned to them by the Director of Offer Development or the Sr. Manager of Offer Development and follow through execution. Review exceptions to contracts with learned intermediaries and obtain CPC approval as necessary. Develop and Enhance Business Acumen as it relates to Therapeutic Areas important to J&J portfolio and drive to understand the products, contract strategies, and overall business objectives. Manage Records and ensure that all executed documents are managed per JJHCS Records Management procedures in TRIM. Assist in Issue Resolution, Post Contract Execution: Serve as the liaison between Account Management, Contract Validation and Analytics, and Contract Operations to resolve issues involving contract language and payment issues, after the contract is executed. Be compliant to all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies and procedures. Perform duties assigned as needed. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. A concentration in Business, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Contracting or related field preferred MBA or advanced degree preferred Paralegal certificate, preferred. Minimum of four (4) years total overall business experience is required. Minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in contracting, finance, sales and marketing, or experience negotiating in the healthcare industry is required. Experience in healthcare industry is preferred. Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a highly regulated environment required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate business situations clearly and accurately, and to address and resolve issues by communicating difficult information tactfully and diplomatically required. Ability to work with all levels in the organization and with customers and to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with diverse interpersonal styles and priorities required. Demonstrated Business Acumen; understanding of the health care marketplace, the competitive position of our products, and the process by which patients gain access to our products required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities and make decisions in an ambiguous and complex environment required Proven track record of working in a matrixed environment required. Ability to research and analyze issues, and proactively identify options to resolve problems quickly and compliantly required. Experience in drafting or negotiating contracts and/or resolving contract-related issues with external customers preferred. Experience in contract management for managed markets, distribution, physician, institutional, long term care agreements is preferred. Experience in pricing strategy or procurement for pharmaceuticals and medical devices is preferred This position is primarily located in Piscataway, NJ with up to 10% domestic travel between Piscataway, NJ and Titusville, NJ campuses, OR up to 50% domestic travel from Titusville, NJ to Piscataway, NJ if located in Titusville, NJ is required.
