Description

PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES

 Works closely with and provide support to ED, Global Business Development & Strategy and

Director, Global Finance & Strategy to maximize global expansion, like door growth and deliver profit strategy.

 Provides analytical support across all international business dimensions to ensure executional excellence across regions.

 Prepare financial reporting and analysis on global brand performance and make relevant recommendations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

STRATEGY

 Provide analytical and project management support for brand strategy sessions.

 Manage creation and deployment of strategic action register.

 Publish brand highlights and regional summaries monthly.

 Analyze door productivity and franchise performance.

MARKET DEVELOPMENT

 Provide research on best practices, retailer trends, competitive actions, category trends, alternative channel opportunities and regional trends as required by the brand.

 Provide analytical support across all international business dimensions.

 Provide support on market-specific projects (i.e., new market entry checklist)

 Assist in creation of emerging market council action register. Fold findings into regional summaries and follow up regularly.

DISTRIBUTION

 Synthesize regional strategies/action register into executive summary. Publish monthly.

 Report on action register of top 100 global doors to ensure executional excellence. Expand to 200 by FY2017/18.

 Continually enhance distribution tracker for new doors/door upgrades. Gather key performance metrics and productivity for door upgrades to further drive like door growth. Ensure all new doors are properly announced.

 Manage creation of retail manual to capture space/location requirements, negotiation tactics, rules of engagement, financial tracking, prioritization and phasing.

 Partner with ED, Global Business Development and Director, Global Finance in creation of FSS strategy including rollout plan. Provide analytical support and establish key performance metrics and productivity guidelines for FSS channel. Assist with FSS P&L management. Facilitate development of policy and procedures to drive operational efficiency.

 Continually update International retailer strategy to include number of doors, rankings, e-commerce and distribution plan.

MARKET ANALYTICS/REPORTING

 Provide analytical insight on market and channel growth opportunities.

 Track key performance indicators and productivity metrics across all business dimensions.

 Synthesize market and consumer intelligence from regions.

 Identify opportunities to improve business reporting by market, category and channel and processes to maximize brand efficiency.

FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND STRATEGY

 Analyzes financial information to coordinate all aspects of reporting with NY Global Brand, regions, affiliates, plants, distributors, and operations. On a monthly basis, assists with the monitoring of results against budgets/estimates

 Prepares and issues monthly reporting commentary, actual results of operations and various other reports reflecting monthly results (Brand dashboard, SIOP, Leadership team meetings, etc.). Provide monthly financial analysis and reporting to Corporate and Divisional management, including COG Committee Value Case Tracker

 Responsible for preparing the monthly estimate reporting process (MPR), analysis for Investor Relations reporting and Licensee including quarterly royalty schedules and payments.

 Annually, assist with NY Global Brand team to support the brand strategy and brand innovation processes. Maintains and updates Global Financial Model as part of Strategy/Innovation along with additional support requirements.

COMMUNICATION / PRESENTATIONS

 Prepare presentations for retailer meetings, global conferences, strategy and regional meetings.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

 3 years of marketing and sales experience or analyst program experience (investment banking or management consulting)

 Understanding and appreciation that Licensor (Tom Ford) is the brand voice and creator.

 Strong organizational and project management skills. Collaborative.

 Global mindset. Understands how geopolitics and global finance can affect our business environment

 Undergraduate degree – BA/BS

 Strong financial skillset. 2 years of financial modeling.

 Ability to translate key findings from analyses into insights to drive decision making and execution of strategic objectives

 Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.

 Strong PC skills including SAP, Excel, PowerPoint (additional skill with Apple Keynote a point of differentiation)
