We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Seamstress. An individual could be successful if they posses the following.
Your daily responsibilities include

Hems, mends, and completes basic alterations.
Responsible for sewing garments as needed.
Reports all problems to the Lead Wardrobe Seamstress/Coordinator.
Maintains complete confidentiality of cast member records/issues and protected company information at all times.
Measures cast members and issues appropriate uniforms.
Collects uniforms from terminated cast members.
Monthly inventory, open, enter and update in Stratton Warren/Invotech.
Process blanket purchase order releases in Stratton Warren/Invotech.  (ie shoes and cleaners).
Enter and update cast member uniform issued in Stratton Warren/Invotech.
Organizes and maintains files, labels storage bin, audits stock inventory and restocks shelves as shipments arrive.
Assists Lead Wardrobe/Seamstress Coordinator as needed.
Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow cast members.
Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

Must be 18 years of age or older. Understanding of garment construction with commercial sewing experience preferred
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.  Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be computer literate with knowledge of Database, Excel, Lotus and Work software.
Needs to be familiar with garment industry.
While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The cast member is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The cast member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The cast member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
