Position Summary:

• To conduct fed batch and perfusion cell culture to support new product development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct CHO cell culture runs in fed batch (XRS20 and STR200) and perfusion modes (75%)

• Maintenance of cell lines, cell culture sample analysis (5%)

• Basic data analysis in Excel, preparation of slides (15%)

• Lab maintenance support including inventory, purchases and equipment upkeep related to the CHO feedstock provision for Applications R&D team (5%)

Skills and Knowledge:

• Works well with others

• Handles tight timelines effectively

• Willing to do occasional off hours and weekend work (for bioreactors)

• Attention to details

• Well organized

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

• Ability to adequately record, analyze and document data

• Ability to reproducibly follow established procedures

• Good hands-on laboratory skills

5 years industry experience 

Good verbal and written communication skills
