POSITION SUMMARY The main goal of this role is to help design and implement the key technical components of the small to large program solutions and helps direct Aetna technical resources to develop and deliver the project deliverables. The technical lead reduces the overall project technical risk by uncovering design issues early in the project life-cycle, shares implementation best practices, and recommends solution alternatives. Additionally the technical lead will partner with the project technical teams to conduct design\/code reviews during major program\/project milestones. This is a hands-on role that requires significant technical experience and abilities with Salesforce.com and related cloud technologies. This role reports into the Salesforce Center of Excellence Director. *Note: Interested candidates must be legally eligible to work for any US employer & not require visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future. Fundamental Components: Duties and Responsibilities: Serves as the technical expert on Aetna projects focused on Salesforce.com - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and the Force.com platform. Hands-on design and development of custom solutions on the Force.com platform including declarative customization, APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Components, data modeling, integration, and data migration. Judge the feasibility and tradeoff of different technologies and make choices that fit the constraints of the project. Develop business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration, test processes and release management. Delegates to, guides, and follows up with other Aetna resources to implement solutions, as necessary. Accurately estimates the time required for yourself or others to complete particular assignments. Works directly with business customers and technical team to lead projects, facilitates business process analysis sessions, develops and delivers key components of technology solution. Integration platform design and implementation experience (Boomi, Jitterbit, Informatica, etc.) Provide solution and integration development with Salesforce including requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing, and deployment Lead the integration of business processes across disparate systems Designs and implements business technology solutions focused on cloud-based business applications, specifically, Salesforce.com and cloud integration and BI platforms. Direct involvement and\/or oversight of developing business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration, testing and deployment. Works directly with clients to lead projects, facilitates business process analysis sessions, develops and delivers key components of technology solution. Participates and\/or leads on Aetna AIS CoE team in defining development, release management and coding best practices, tools, standards and methodologies. Actively participates in communicating these principles across the organization and into customer product delivery. Provides mentoring and guidance to other team members, including offshore team members Demonstrate ability to influence stakeholders to meet objectives. BACKGROUND\/EXPERIENCE desired: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent years of professional experience in a relevant field 5 years experience in a hands-on technical leadership position 3 years experience with Salesforce.com in a development and\/or configuration capacity Salesforce advanced administrator, advanced developer, or technical architect certifications highly preferred SOA design EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
