The Sales & Marketing Engineering team focuses on continuously improving the productivity of our sales teams. With thousands of salespeople small improvements can have a large impact, and large changes can be enormous. We’re looking for engineers that are as passionate about software design and architecture as they are about Salesforce.com

features and technologies.

What You Will Do:

Work closely with BSAs, Admins, an Architect and fellow engineers to design and build scalable solutions for our sales, customer success and marketing teams leveraging Salesforce platform.

Support, improve and enhance existing application and processes by streamlining the current code and addressing technical debt.

Build robust integrations with third-party systems within or outside Yelp’s infrastructure.

Leverage the latest and greatest Salesforce.com features by following the Salesforce releases and content.

Advocate the industry standards for Salesforce.com development best practices and play an active role in technical design and code review to ensure quality.

What We Are Looking For:

3 years of Salesforce.com development experience required

1 years of experience programming in systems outside of Salesforce.com (Java, Python, C#, etc.)

Strong command of Salesforce technologies: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and declarative development

Good Understanding of Salesforce.com Sales, Service Cloud

Strong team working skills with ability to mentor other team members with best practices and learning new technologies/features

Good verbal and written skills to communicate solutions, trade offs and risks to other engineers and stakeholders, wherever applicable

Excited about the challenges of working at scale in a large Salesforce instance

Pluses:

Salesforce Developer certifications

Experience with Unix-like systems

Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
