Sales SupervisorPHH Corporation - Mount Laurel, NJ
The Portfolio Sales Leader is responsible for managing a team of loan officers to make outbound calls and meet production goals, quality metrics, provide leadership and effective coaching. The primary responsibilities of this position are to lead, motivate and coach loan officers to improve or increase skillsets to meet daily, weekly and monthly sales goals. Secondary responsibilities include assessing sales operational challenges to identify and develop solutions to enhance productivity. Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coach, develop and provide training to maintain high performance and customer service standards
Motivate sales team to aggressively sell a range of mortgage products in order to meet sales targets and company retention goals
Promote a result-driven sales culture
Recruit loan officers to build high performing sales teams
Execute sales initiatives to drive growth opportunities
Hold loan officers accountable for production activity, training and caller compliance requirements
Apply appropriate techniques to manage sales performance standards
Develop contests, awards and themes that increase loan officers loyalty and focus
Understand key performance metrics to drive performance improvement
Drive positive change through active participation on process improvement initiatives.
Review and analyze sales and operations performance reports
Implement change to improve production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
Manage adherence to attendance and other PHH policies
Strong communication skills

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:
High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years successful Sales experience required, preferably in a call center, financial product environment.
Sales leadership experience preferred.
2 years mortgage origination experience preferred.
Successful sales record and strong technical knowledge (rates, programs, underwriting, etc.) required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must demonstrate leadership potential/skills in current position
Excellent interpersonal skills required in order to provide guidance, counseling, and direction to loan officers
Proven ability to be a self-starter that can lead while working under pressure in order to meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment
Strong attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written) required
Must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills
Must have previous experience with demonstrating strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management to ensure effective execution of sales strategies
Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required
Must be a forward strategic thinker
TRAINING / LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
Must pass PHH Corporation’s Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable.
Must pass/maintain all national and state licensing requirements as needed

Maintain visibility within department to support corporate open door policy.
Interact with executive team, client and functional leaders to ensure that company’s operational priorities are aligned with total company direction.
Create and enhance ongoing development initiatives for operation to raise the level of expertise, improve production
Must be proficient working in a Windows based environment and demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Lead management software experience preferred
TRAVEL / WORK SCHEDULE
Candidates should be open to flexible scheduling options and have the ability to adapt/change as needed.
This may include the ability to work additional hours or alternative shifts in order to meet business needs and essential functions of the job
