Sales Manager - National Accounts (RNAM Manager)

Job Description & Qualifications

Job Summary

Responsible for leading respective territory in managing/coaching Renovations Sales Coordinators, driving incremental sales throughout the region and pursues regional/national account renovation opportunities. Accountable for sales, margin and EBIT goals for the region along with insuring the expense budget is managed successfully. This position requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, HD Supply will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

Manages team in respective territory. Manage the performance of associates and recognize, train, coach, counsel, and take corrective action when warranted.

Coordinates with internal customers to ensure goals are met.

Manages regional sales budget.

Mentors team including but not limited to training of new associates, ride-alongs, developing new talent and future leadership.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope

Solutions require analysis and investigation.

Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles and practical experience.

Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.

Work Environment

Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort.

Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age

Must pass the Drug Test

Must pass the Background Check

Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

Education and Experience

Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 7+ years experience in related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Renovation experience.

Construction management experience.

Previous business to business sales experience.

Previous sales management experience.

The RNAM Manager will lead a team of National Account Managers on the Renovation Property Improvement Team.
