Position Overview: Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Sales Engineer in the Dallas, Texas. Your primary objective will be to grow profitable Molex revenue within the territory by creating demand at existing or new customers and markets throughout the territory. This position will be a key interface between the customers and Molex, and will be responsible for educating the customers on the value Molex brings to their companies. Essential Functions:
Manage assigned territory to achieve or surpass assigned revenue targets and assigned CRM demand creation pipeline goals.
Maintain complete, up to date, and accurate CRM database while tracking and coordinating demand creation business transitioned to other parts of the world to assure Molex captures this business.
Find desirable revenue opportunities and present to Business Units for necessary support.
Continuous development of technical product skills to effectively sell a wide breadth of Molex offerings to include solutions.
Discover and expand new and emerging customer base.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline
Minimum of 2 years sales experience within the electronics industry

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
Extensive background in connector sales in a targeted territory or account base
Established relationship with existing customer base

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to self-motivate to successfully manage and prioritize own workload with minimal supervision.
Ability to understand customer needs and effectively sell solutions to both the customer and supporting Molex business units.
Ability to effectively build strategic customer and distributor relationships across a broad span of roles to maximize Molex’s ability to win business.
Ability to influence others both within Molex and with the customer base.
