Sales Development Manager - SecuRock ExoAir

POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Development Manager is responsible for sales
of the USG / Tremco Securock ExoAir 430 system as part of the USG Building
Envelope Solutions business.  This position will also be an integral member of
the management team that leads the continued development of the USG Building
Envelope Solutions business and the introduction of the USG / Tremco Securock
ExoAir 430 system to various markets, channels and applications.
 
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales leadership function for Securock ExoAir 430 system in designated region.
Manages the execution of key account business plans and
is the primary lead of the account management process.  Serve as a business
advisor to key customers.
Coordination of USG’s regional Building Envelope
Specification Sales Managers, USG Field Sales Teams, USG Architectural Sales
Teams and Tremco Sales Teams to manage the development of new sales
opportunities for the Securock ExoAir 430 system.
Determine & develop the best channel alignment to
maximize our success in all vertical building envelope markets, specifically
focusing on health, education and federal market segments.
Develop strategic account strategy for the three focus
market segments listed above.
Work with product management and USG field sales to
develop and maintain price and policy levels throughout the market.  Facilitate
consistent price and policy tactics by understanding price and policy
relationships.
Effectively communicate and coordinate with all USG and
Tremco field sales teams. 
Provide sales/marketing leadership for field sales, and
marketing plans and programs.

Manage
administrative duties, such as operating within budget, Salesforce.com
leadership, etc

Job Requirements

Position Requirements

Previous experience as an accomplished sales
representative is required.
General building envelope industry sales experience and
specifically air and water barrier category related is preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship
building skills.  Skilled at independent scheduling of activities and setting of
priorities to insure maximizing of account development for both existing and new
accounts.
Initiative and high level of self motivation. 
Willingness to travel up to 75% within assigned region.
Ability to absorb technical subject matter as it would
relate to the vertical building envelope market and the greater building
envelope industry, ideally with all key influencers, including specifiers,
contractors and distribution.
Strong presentation and professional selling
skills.
