Sales Consultant, Education Solutions

Sales professional responsible for leading sales efforts in the education vertical market (both higher education and K-12) in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Education leader achieves sales targets through collectively leveraging four key audiences: 1) Steelcase sales team; 2) Steelcase dealers; 3) Architects and designers; 4) Academic leaders.

Key responsibilities:

Supports strategic accounts, and may serve as primary owner for key sales opportunities.

Develops and executes winning sales strategies.

Plans, facilitates and/or conducts complex negotiations, typically over a long sales cycle.

Applies consultative selling skills to develop attractive value propositions for complex opportunities.

Utilizes advanced product knowledge and understanding of the customer's business to develop creative solutions that meet the customer’s needs while producing revenue in line with product category plans.

Demonstrates a deep understanding of education customers and their issues.

Required Skills

Must have demonstrated outstanding sales ability with a sustained record of sales achievement.

Required Experience

3 yrs. Sales experience within the Education vertical

Bachelor's degree
