Responsibilities
THIS POSITION CAN WORK FROM HOME WITHIN THE SOUTH CENTRAL REGION - EAST 

The Senior Business Manager is the primary sales agent for Mohawk Home providing all aspects account management which includes formal sales calls, presentations, price negotiation, market analysis and relationship building. 
The Senior Business Manager will develop and implement long and short term goals and objectives aligned with the Mohawk Home strategies. 
The position\u2019s primary responsibility is to develop business with new and in existing accounts. 
A successful candidate will monitor vendor specific performance against established objectives within the designed business plan and take appropriate action to improve the performance, create and maintain strong relationships internally and externally with key stake holders in account base and perform sales calls, prepare and perform formal presentations, coordinate with manufacturing, product management and logistics to meet customer demands.   

Qualifications

The Senior Business Manager position requires a bachelor\u2019s degree in sales, business or marketing related field and at least 10 years of progressively responsible work related experience. 
Excellent oral and written communications skills are a must. 
A good foundation of knowledge of industry terms, concepts and practices such as basic accounting, product development, manufacturing processes, distribution, and customer service is required. 
A working proficiency of programs in the Microsoft Office Suite is required. 
Prior experience with rugs a plus.
Prior experience working with Big Box retailers a plus.
