Here at ZapLabs, we're changing the way real estate brokers use SEM to market to home buyers and sellers. We've created a customer engagement platform called Zap for real estate brokers and agents that will nurture their leads automatically, then tell an agent when each lead should be contacted, which increases conversion rates dramatically. What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for an SEM & Program Manager who can also function as a sales executive, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working in a high-visibility position. You’ll provide a great high touch experience, collaborating with teams at Google, Bing, Facebook, and the leadership team here at ZapLabs. You will also be working with leadership teams from each of our major brands: Coldwell Banker, ERA, Century 21, Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate, and Sotheby’s International Realty. You will receive unique professional experience working with our existing sales team and top SEM experts in the industry, and work alongside a team that is committed to the growth and efficiency of our program. What you’ll do:
Our SaaS system, Zap is being rolled out to the Realogy brands, which will translate to enrollment of hundreds of brokers and thousands of agents nationwide. Part of that system is the SEM program, ZapLeads: our real estate focused lead product, which offers access to online opportunities and marketing to Realogy’s brands without inflated cost. ZapLeads allows brokers to leverage our technology into AdWords campaigns in minutes, using a Zap-designed algorithm. ZapLeads is an evolving program and we’re looking for someone who can stay on top of industry trends and help execute strategic changes to the program as we analyze research data. As the SEM & Program Manager, you’ll:
Collaborate daily with different departments including Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, and Data Science to help shape the success of the existing program and open doors to new possibilities
Coordinate the execution of restructured programs, new pilots, and AB tests
Ensure each team member, across multiple departments, is providing updates on progress and be able to clearly communicate each status to your manager and senior leadership
Work closely with teams from each of the brands and within ZapLabs to launch and manage our portfolio of participants
Grow the ZapLeads program by implementing key processes, team KPIs, and relentlessly driving toward key metrics that measure online exposure and a healthy return on investment from the transaction of sales generated by our leads
Contact brokers to help set up budgets and onboard their agents to our system
(This means you will be conducting day-to-day sales and account management)
Set realistic expectations with brokers/owners in order to avoid problems down the road with clients that have never used SEM for lead gen
Have a calm yet commanding presence when dealing with brokers/owners who have been running their brokerages the same way for many years
Be accountable for client launch, retention, and finding upselling opportunities
Skills, accomplishments, & interests you should have
3-5 years of professional sales experience and/ or account management experience
Advanced knowledge of SEM or tech related industry: i.e., tech sales, digital ad sales
Ability to project manage with multiple departments
Experience using status documents and creating meeting agendas
Strong organizational skills with efficiency in dealing with multiple accounts
Excellent communication, active listening skills (via phone and in person), leadership presence and patience
Significant understanding of and knowledge in Google Analytics
Skill in scheduling and running multiple meetings a day
Ability to upsell, using consultative approach
Fluent in Excel, PPT & SQL preferred
Kenshoo or Marin Software experience preferred
Google AdWords certified preferred
Have a good working knowledge of SEM /AdWords
