Overview
Bio-Rad is looking for a Demand Planning Business Systems Analyst, Senior Staff.
 
As part of the Bio-Rad Center of Excellence (\u201cCOE\u201d), this position will work with key business users to support the Demand Planning Process within the company\u2019s SAP instance.
Responsibilities

This role will focus on the planning process from customer demand through the distribution system to the process manufacturing and reagent manufacturing plants and suppliers along with inter-plant requirements.
Collaborative Planning/S&OP/Distribution Requirements Planning.
Rough Cut and Detailed Capacity Planning.
Material Requirements Planning for discrete and process items including lot controlled and perishable products.
Translation of requirements to shop floor scheduling or lean manufacturing systems.
Monitor and collect ongoing business requirements to ensure that End User needs are addressed.
The position will work with the user community to understand requested changes, provide guidance on timelines for implementation and to assist in the rollout of system changes.
Working closely with other Work streams (OTC, RTR, LEX, PTP, BA, and MDM) to understand the interdependencies between Business Analytics and other Business Processes with the integrated ERP system landscape.
Assisting End Users to resolve routine problems, identifying root causes of quality problems and proposing sustainable solutions.
Supporting training for new and modified business processes as required.

Qualifications

BA/BS Degree Required. APICS, CPIM or CSCP and or an MBA a strong plus.
Strong business acumen with Five or more year\u2019s direct experience in a master planning and shop floor planning environment.
Proven problem solving skills.
Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment; self-motivated to in an independent and collaborative mode.
Savvy user of SAP.
Ability to decompose complex processes into sub-processes.
Ability to build strong relationships with peers and leaders by building trust and credibility; strong collaboration skills.
Effective management of individuals without reporting authority to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
Ability to travel on average 30%, including internationally.
