Role and Responsibilities


The NRG DER Sales Support Supervisor will spearhead sales support efforts for the NRG DER Team. The Sales Support Supervisor is responsible for ensuring leads/meetings and conference calls are scheduled, documented, and followed-up with as needed. This position will also be responsible for ensuring that members of the sales support group have up to date training materials and have the proper tools to succeed and become self-sufficient within the position. They are also responsible for providing traditional sales support functions as needed (creating savings proposals, gathering performance reports, and data reconciliation/analysis). The Sales Support Supervisor reports directly to the Manager of Energy Services.


*Administration of the ACT! Database *Report findings from tracking to management *Assist in tracking and implementation of sales commissions and training *Provide traditional Sales Support and Analyst functions *Prospect and complete various research-related projects *Maintain and distribute weekly sales/DER reports *Funnel and assign incoming leads for complex services and offerings outside of the normal products *Prioritize tasks and projects for lead generation/improvement *Manage the sales support team *Oversee administrative duties, including but not limited to: creation and distribution of revenue projections, daily/weekly/monthly/yearly sales performance reports, tracking of sales statistics, and creating customer contracts accurately and timely. *Oversee the day to day operations of the Utility Bill Management service *Interface between multiple departments regarding the sales process and analysis for distributed energy resources *Point person for RFP's, RFQ's, and customer proposals *Management of RFP Bidding Directories *Creation of customer-facing presentations

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


*Must have excellent written and verbal communication in order to communicate with customers and across all departments. *Must be able to balance multiple projects and efficiently meet deadlines. *Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word *General knowledge of utility billing and retail electricity and natural gas supply *Ability to use internet tools for research purposes *Ability to work well in an individual and in a team environment *Proactive in learning new information *Ability to coordinate with customers and suppliers *Manage complex issues to find solutions *Work independently to achieve project goals *Work within NRG to find correct contacts and make sure we meet deliverables *Strong ability to perform sales is preferred

Minimum Requirements       


*Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related field  *A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an office environment. *Experience working with Microsoft Office suite *Minimum of Intermediate level of Excel knowledge

Preferred Qualifications


*Previous experience working in the Energy industry *Previous experience working in a management role *Previous experience with data collection and utility billing
